The Intermediaries Sales & Client Solutions team plays a key role in delivering on the ambitious strategic objectives of the Intermediaries division. The selected candidate will help accelerate the global commercialization of our digital ecosystem for Intermediaries. The role centres on promoting our in‑house digital offering, advising on and managing PMS partnerships, driving connectivity initiatives, supporting digital workflows, and acting as a trusted advisor to Intermediaries on market‑ and investment‑related digital solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of digital expertise, client engagement skills, and a genuine interest in financial markets.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales & Client Solutions Intermediaries and work closely with colleagues across our Front teams, Regional Chief of Staff, as well as global product and operations units.
IHRE AUFGABEN
Client Engagement & Advisory:

Serve as advisor to Intermediaries on our in-house digital offering (i.e., BaerOnline® Intermediaries, Market Toolbox, FIX, etc.), PMS systems and other connectivity workflows

Conduct comprehensive assessments of Intermediaries’ needs to recommend the most suitable technology platform and optimal connectivity setup

Evolve the Intermediaries advisory & consulting approach, including the creation of new consulting services
Sales Enablement & Business Development:
-
Support Relationship Managers (RMs) with client demos, pitches, and digital workflow presentations

Deliver high‑quality, client‑specific proposals with speed, quality, and consistency

Identify and drive upsell/cross‑sell opportunities across our digital product universe
Digital Platform & Offering Development:
-
Drive the evolution and adoption of our in-house digital offering and identify enhancements in workflows, connectivity, and usability

Develop digital sales and offering concepts to support senior management decision-making; support strategic projects

Collaborate with our Product house & Operations / IT on PMS integrations, connectivity, automation, and overall digital roadmap
Connectivity & PMS Management:

Support PMS connectivity projects as a SME (e.g., API, FIX, SFTP) across onboarding, testing, and troubleshooting

Maintain strong relationships with PMS providers and digital partners

Continuously evaluate the marketplace to identify and assess relevant solution providers in the Intermediaries ecosystem
Training & Adoption:

Deliver internal & external training on our in-house digital tools, connectivity, reporting, and digital workflows

Create digital sales content for both internal and external audiences, supporting direct and indirect distribution strategies

Promote adoption through communication, release notes, and best‑practice guidance
YOUR PROFILE
Academic & Industry Background:
-
Above‑average university degree, ideally a Master’s in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
-
Alternatively: candidates with exceptional industry experience in private banking or the Intermediaries business – supported by a proven track record in digital sales, product development, PMS ecosystems, and connectivity features – are equally encouraged to apply

Deep knowledge of the private banking industry, and particularly the Intermediaries business model, including a solid understanding of banking products, services, and Intermediary workflows

Strong analytical‑conceptual capabilities, thought leadership, story‑lining skills, and a structured, results‑driven working style
Technical & Digital Expertise:

Excellent proficiency in modern banking applications and Microsoft Office tools
-
Strong knowledge of professional financial platforms used by Intermediaries (e.g., Bloomberg), trading and connectivity standards (e.g., FIX protocol), and portfolio management systems
-
Familiarity with PMS connectivity (API, SFTP, FIX) and digital workflows across the Intermediaries ecosystem
Client, Communication & Collaboration Skills:

Outstanding presentation and communication skills; fluency in English (written & oral), with German, French, or Italian considered an advantage

Creative problem‑solver with a positive personality, strong drive, and the ability to generate innovative solutions to complex problems

Excellent team player with a “can‑do” attitude, comfortable working across functions and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
