SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER FOR DRUMS 40%The Kantonsschule Enge Zurich is a short-term high school with the Matura profiles "Economics and Law", "New Languages" and "Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology" as well as a commercial secondary school (HMS). The Kantonsschule Enge is the center of life for about 170 teachers, 30 employees in administration and operations, and about 1,200 students.
On the campus, the two instrumental departments of the Kantonsschulen Enge and Freudenberg work closely together, so that teachers teach students from both schools. Instrumental lessons are part of both the compulsory and optional offerings at the schools.
Your tasks
At the beginning of the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a committed secondary school teacher for drum set, classical drums, and percussion (approx. 40%). The employment is according to the Secondary School and Vocational School Teacher Ordinance.
Your profile
A prerequisite for employment is a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy. Ideally, you also have teaching experience at the high school or cantonal school level. You can inspire students with a wide repertoire of methods, innovative projects, and diverse teaching forms for the instrument and music. Close and results-oriented cooperation with the department is a matter of course for you. You are happily committed to a diverse and visibly cultural life at the school.
