Animal Caretaker (Sick Leave Replacement) Focus on Equine Clinic, Dept. of Internal Medicine As a sick leave replacement, we are looking to strengthen our team at the Clinic for Equine Medicine immediately with a committed and proactive individual as an animal caretaker. The position is initially limited to 6 months. You are a professional in horse care and interested in working in a motivated and productive team. You enjoy learning new things and appreciate the professional care of patients. Your tasks
Your daily, but not everyday tasks include:
- caring for inpatient and outpatient patients, including late, weekend, night, and on-call duties
- preparation and follow-up as well as assistance with minor and major diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- maintenance of infrastructure such as stables, facilities, and work equipment.
In addition to the main qualifications, competence in handling horses and above-average commitment, your ability to work in a team is paramount. Additional qualifications that enrich our team (e.g., training as a farrier, horse groomer, or similar) are an advantage. A category B driving license is a prerequisite for your work in horse care.
