Strategic Buyer, Specialist in Public Procurement (100%)

Your Tasks

• As a competent contact person for the specialist departments, you ensure the correct tendering process during public tenders and prepare the corresponding tender documents.
• You represent purchasing in procurement projects and accompany them from planning to completion. This includes tender advice, supplier evaluation, obtaining offers, order processing, and controlling.
• Assistance and implementation of procurement and supplier strategies
• Optimization of methods and tools for the continuous improvement of procurement processes
• Developing and establishing a binding assortment policy
• Focus on key suppliers and consolidation of demand
• During vacation absences, you support operational purchasing in order processing.

Your Profile

• Technical or commercial training and further education as a purchasing specialist or technical commercial specialist with a federal certificate
• Several years of experience in purchasing in a technical environment
• Experience in handling tenders in public procurement is an advantage; alternatively, willingness to further educate as a specialist in public procurement with a federal certificate
• You are an entrepreneurial-minded personality with high professional competence, aligning your results with quality, economy, and sustainability.
• You possess conceptual thinking as well as a high customer and service orientation and teamwork skills. Your negotiation skills and communication strength distinguish you.
• Very high IT affinity, good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
