For our headquarters at the Winterbach location near Stuttgart / Sourcing department, we are looking for a
(Junior) Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)
limited until 31.12.2027
Your tasks
- You work closely with design, QM, purchasing and suppliers and take on active interface management.
- You accompany product development holistically - from the selection of materials to the optimization of costs and efficiency.
- You prepare price, quantity and condition negotiations and accompany their implementation to ensure optimal purchasing conditions.
- You keep an eye on all delivery dates of our own brands and ensure timely implementation through consistent monitoring and proactive action.
- You maintain our master data in our systems (PIM, PLM, D365) - reliably and structured.
- You identify and develop international suppliers for our defined textile product groups.
- You support the development and implementation of our country and supplier strategy - including evaluation of production sites and capacities.
- You conduct supplier evaluations and maintain long-term, partnership-based relationships with suppliers.
- You contribute to sustainable sourcing strategies - thinking along regarding material alternatives, certifications and future viability.
Your profile
- Completed studies in textile management, fashion management, business administration or a comparable commercial-textile education.
- Experience in sourcing, product management within the fashion or textile industry.
- Very good material and product knowledge (cut, processing, ingredients).
- Ideally experience in dealing with international suppliers.
- Good understanding of production processes in the textile industry (manufacturing processes, capacities, lead times).
- Know-how on sustainability standards (e.g. Oeko-Tex, GOTS, BSCI, supply chain due diligence).
- Very good English skills as well as confident MS Office skills (especially Outlook, OneNote, Excel, e.g. pivot tables, basic formulas, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both internally and with international partners.
- Analytical thinking, high problem-solving skills and flexibility with short-term changes.
- Structured and independent working style in a dynamic environment.
