Chief Physician / Head of Ophthalmology Clinic

Due to the retirement of the previous position holder, we are looking for a

• Ensuring and further developing the high-quality services of the Ophthalmology Clinic in the field of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery
• Organizational, personnel, and professional leadership as well as development of the ophthalmic surgery department as a member of the Department Management Surgery
• Responsibility for education, further training, and continuing education in the department as well as for establishing recognition as a training center

• Specialist title in ophthalmology with a focus on ophthalmic surgery
• Several years of leadership experience in a senior position at a central hospital with corresponding knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
• Integrative and communicative personality with high social competence and great interest in a leadership role as well as corresponding tertiary-level training
• Enjoyment in education, further training, and continuing education as well as the corresponding development of a training center
