The Office for Youth and Career Counseling of the Education Directorate provides, commissions, controls, and coordinates services for child and youth welfare and career counseling. The Breitenstein Center is part of the Office for Youth and Career Counseling and is supported and co-financed by the municipalities of the Andelfingen district.
The Breitenstein Center provides social services in the areas of child and adult protection, personal assistance, counseling, and prevention for the population of the Andelfingen district. The offer is aimed at families, adolescents, and children as well as adults with special needs, social difficulties, and/or addiction problems.
The interdisciplinary Counseling and Prevention department of the Breitenstein Center in Andelfingen is looking for an intern in the Addiction Prevention department starting May 2026.
Your tasks during the internship:
- Collaboration in the implementation of the diverse addiction prevention services
- Conducting parent education events and supporting the training of multipliers
- Supporting counseling of organizations, authorities, and key persons in schools and communities
- Assisting in the further development of prevention services
- Cooperation with external specialist agencies, actors in education, health, and social sectors
- Taking on research tasks, documentation, and quality assurance
Your profile:
- Student in "Health Promotion and Prevention"
- Confident appearance and skilled interaction with various stakeholders
- Affinity for handling various digital media
- Willingness to work flexible hours (evening shifts)
- Independent working style and ability to work in a team
