The team brings together experienced professionals working 24/7 in specialized units – adult acute psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, addiction medicine, and psychosocial rehabilitation – offering integrated and individualized care in open or closed environments according to needs. It also carries out liaison and training missions recognized by the ISFM, contributing to the quality of care and the training of psychiatrists.

Psychiatrist (M/F)
Job Description
Intervene in the hospitalization of patients in psychiatric care.
Provide consultations and psychiatric care within our multidisciplinary team.
Support the hospital department head and play a proactive role in the development of the psychiatry service by contributing to projects, to our integrated care system aimed at constantly improving care standards and ensuring comprehensive mental health care for our patients
Actively participate in the development of care projects and the continuous improvement of practices within the institution.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement tailored care plans
Establish and maintain strong professional links with general practitioners, thus fostering transparent collaboration and ensuring attentive patient follow-up
Specific responsibilities in addition to the above points :
You ensure the replacement of the incumbent according to the service needs.
You participate in weekend on-call duties: 1 weekend every 6 to 10 weeks (on-site visits + telephone presence).
You play a leading role in the supervision and training of assistant doctors.
The position is open to part-time work between 80% and 100%, according to your availability.

Qualifications
You hold a medical degree in psychiatry with a specialization in adult psychiatry, recognized by the Swiss authorities (MEBEKO). You also hold the FMH specialist title (or equivalent) in psychiatry. You have a minimum C1 level in French.
You have confirmed experience in clinical psychiatry, ideally in a hospital environment. Experience in supporting patients in acute psychiatric care would be a valuable asset. Significant experience in an academic setting is also desirable.
You possess strong skills in listening, analysis, and decision-making, and you are able to manage stressful and complex situations effectively. You are autonomous in your practice while respecting the protocols and values of the institution.
You appreciate working within a multidisciplinary team and are able to communicate effectively with your colleagues. Your team spirit is an asset to contribute to the collective development of our psychiatry service.
You demonstrate a sense of ethics, respect for confidentiality, as well as kindness and empathy towards patients. You are able to create a respectful and caring environment, essential in your professional practice.
