At Oberburg School, 350 children and young people are taught in 17 classes: 3 kindergarten classes, 9 primary classes, and five classes of secondary level 1. We run three parallel classes with two year groups each: KG, 1st/2nd grade; 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade. The 9th grades are single-year classes. Oberburg School is an innovative school where traditions are maintained and new ideas are always welcome.
During the school year, we hold cross-level events with the whole school, such as relay races, game afternoons, meeting afternoons, and theme days. In addition, voluntary ski camps are held annually for the 5th/6th grades as well as secondary level 1. Good cooperation forms the basis for teaching and learning at Oberburg School.

Tasks
You share the class teacher role with an experienced teacher. You teach 16 lessons in your class (4L NMG, 3L French, 3L English, 2L M&I, 2L Music, and 2L Art). There is some flexibility in the lessons if you do not prefer all subjects =)
You could additionally teach 3L English in the parallel class. If you want to teach more lessons, we are happy to discuss it. So this is a quite flexible and open position =)
Additionally, if interested and with the necessary know-how, you can take on the role of the school-internal specialist for Media & Informatics (SMI). As SMI, you have a central role at our school. You work with an experienced SMI (with a small employment) and the school management. You are responsible for first-level support, are the contact person for the external IT company, and support teachers in pedagogical questions. The 25% employment from the school pool is supplemented by a functional allowance from the municipality.
Requirements
Level diploma or in training.
For the SMI: The necessary know-how in the field of informatics.
