The St. Chrischona nursing home offers its 37 residents a comprehensive sense of home, competent care, a family atmosphere, and spiritual support combined with a beautiful location in the middle of nature.

Due to the retirement of the current position holder, our team is looking for a committed

Head of Nursing and Care (m/f) 80%-100%

What it’s about

• You are responsible for the nursing and care of 37 residents.
• You lead a committed nursing team and further develop it, both professionally and personally.
• You use the freedom to try new things. If it works – great. If not, we try something else.
• Together with the home manager, you bear budget responsibility.
• You maintain close contact with the nursing needs assessment.
• You represent the nursing home in committees such as Curaviva Basel-Stadt.
• You represent the home manager in their absence.

What is required:

• Completed tertiary education (Diploma in Nursing HF, DN II, AKP, registered nurse, or similar)
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in acute and/or long-term care
• Good social skills and emotional intelligence
• Organizational talent
• Preferably knowledge of RAI LTCF
• Confident handling of common software applications (Microsoft 365, duty scheduling systems, etc.)
• Support for the Christian orientation of our institution
