The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP) of the PUK is responsible for child and adolescent psychiatric care throughout the canton of Zurich. The regional offices are available for the entire outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric diagnostics, counseling, and therapy of the population in the area of responsibility. Emergency care is provided at our location on Lenggstrasse.
We are looking for an emergency service doctor immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Psychiatric-clinical care of children and adolescents during night shifts
- Conducting emergency psychiatric assessments including anamnesis, psychopathological findings, and clinical evaluation
- Assessment and treatment of acute psychiatric crises in outpatient and inpatient patients
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, psychologists, and other specialist disciplines
- Management of electronic duty rosters and documentation of treatments
- Structured handover of relevant information to the day shift
Your profile
- Completed medical studies (for foreign diplomas: recognition by MEBEKO required)
- Interest or experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or pediatrics desired
- High clinical competence and decisiveness in emergency situations
- Independent, responsible, and structured working style
- Resilience and reliability during night shifts
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
