Head of Accounting & Finance Projects (100%)

In this versatile role, you are responsible for the Finance Projects function as well as the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and accounting areas of our "Vertical" business models. At the same time, you drive the further development of financial processes, accounting systems, governance and internal control systems and represent the interests of finance in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

Your tasks:

Finance Projects:

• Management and implementation of finance & accounting projects
• Participation in integration and system projects
• Definition of requirements as well as coordination of tests, documentation & implementation
• Identification of automation and digitalisation potential
• Further development of finance processes, controls, data quality & internal control systems
• Coordination of internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring quality, deadlines and agreed project goals

Accounting:

• Purchase-to-Pay: responsibility for creditors and provisions, including monitoring and optimisation of the purchase-to-pay process, user management and training as well as checking internal guidelines
• Fixed asset accounting: responsibility for fixed asset accounting, ensuring correct balance sheet representation and documentation of fixed assets
• Accounting of the "Vertical" business models (e.g. Starzone). Ensuring correct posting and reconciliation of all contracts and business transactions according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER
• Continuous further development of processes in the accounting responsibility area, systems and controls

Other tasks:

• Deputising for the CFO and the Director of Accounting within defined areas of responsibility
• Ambassador within the finance department for new processes and systems on behalf of the shareholders
• Taking on project management or sub-project management tasks in finance and business transformation initiatives

Your qualifications:

• University degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a comparable qualification
• Further training in finance and accounting or project management is an advantage
• Several years of experience in finance and accounting, as well as experience in finance projects and process optimisation
• Knowledge of digitalisation, automation and ERP systems
• Knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER
• Very good Excel and ERP skills
• Very good German and English skills
• Entrepreneurially minded, analytical and solution-oriented personality with high initiative
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented and motivated to actively shape and drive change
