You are a trained gardener or have many years of experience in garden maintenance, enjoy working independently and do not want to do the same thing every day? For the care and maintenance of the properties and outdoor areas we manage, we are looking for a committed individual with horticultural expertise, manual skills and enthusiasm for a varied working day.

Your area:

The focus of your work is the care and design of the green and outdoor areas of various properties in the Zurich Oberland. This includes, among other things:

• Maintenance of lawns, plants, flower beds, hedges and shrubs
• Seasonal garden and surrounding area work
• Pruning, planting and general maintenance tasks
• Independent planning and organisation of the garden work to be done
• Ensuring a well-kept appearance of our properties and outdoor areas

But with us, the work does not end at the garden fence.

Depending on the season and workload, you will also take on caretaking and maintenance tasks. You will work closely with our full-time caretaker. You complement and support each other and cover for each other during holidays or absences.

This makes the position particularly varied: you work outdoors, take care of buildings and surroundings, carry out manual tasks and regularly have contact with tenants, craftsmen and other contacts.

What you bring:

• Completed training as a gardener EFZ or many years of practical experience in garden maintenance
• Enjoyment of independent and practical work
• Manual skills, technical understanding and precise working methods
• Reliable, straightforward and responsible personality
• Willingness to take on caretaking tasks in addition to gardening and to learn new things
• Physical resilience and enjoyment of working outdoors
• Friendly demeanour and good communication skills
• Team spirit – because even though you do many tasks independently, together you form a strong caretaking and maintenance team
• Good knowledge of German
• Driving licence category B
