Main tasks
You study the customer's enquiry documents with the aim of submitting a commercially and technically complete written offer within the specified time. This essentially includes:
- Development of technical concepts and solutions, process engineering design of the plant and its main components, combined with the corresponding calculation
- Preparation of quotations, including the following: Process description, scope of supply and services, list of equipment with parameters, project schedule, process guarantees, commercial conditions
- Input for the creation of plant concepts (layout, PFD, etc.)
- Technical discussions with our international customers
- Representation of our company in meetings and video conferences
- You have a degree in process engineering or mechanical engineering specializing in plant and process engineering (or equivalent education)
- Ideally some years of professional experience in sales or in the planning of investment projects in plant construction (ideally in the chemical environment)
- Fluent in English, further language skills are an advantage
- You work independently, precisely, purposefully and have an efficient and structured way of working, even under (time) pressure from customers
- Very good communication and moderation skills for presenting our products
- Willingness to relocate to nearby Basel/Muttenz
- Ideally Swiss or EU/EFTA-resident
