Overview:

As Head of Restaurant / Chef de Service, you bear overall responsibility for a smooth and efficient operation of all operational service tasks. With your commitment, you ensure that our guests and employees feel comfortable all year round in a warm, professional, and positive atmosphere.

A central part of your role is close collaboration with the kitchen to jointly further develop and continuously maintain our culinary offerings at the highest level. In doing so, you lead clear, appreciative, and goal-oriented communication – both within the team and in exchange with other departments.

Tasks and responsibilities

Personnel management & development

• You plan the onboarding of new employees and organize training sessions
• You lead your 5–6-member team with motivation; your standard for service quality and professional appearance distinguishes you

Service coordination

• You create deployment and cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with standards in all service areas
• You monitor processes, optimize workflows, and use resources efficiently

Quality & guest care

• You conduct quality controls and ensure a well-groomed appearance
• You are a host and live your role
• You handle guest inquiries and complaints in a solution-oriented manner

Collaboration & communication

• You work closely with the kitchen, front office, and management
• You communicate clearly, appreciatively, and goal-oriented

Your profile

• Training in hospitality/restaurant and several years of service experience
• Very good German and English skills (additional languages are an advantage)
• Well-groomed, friendly appearance and high guest orientation
• Resilient, independent, and team-oriented working style
• Organizational talent and attention to detail
