Responsibilities
As a Cabin Engineer, you play an important role in our cabin maintenance team. Your expertise in maintaining the cabins of the SWISS and Edelweiss fleet directly contributes to improving passenger comfort and safety, thereby increasing overall customer satisfaction.
- Maintenance and repair: You perform maintenance and repair work in the aircraft cabin, ensuring it is in perfect condition.
- Routine and safety checks: You inspect the cabin daily to ensure the highest safety and quality standards.
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting: You independently repair seats in First and Business class, ensuring the best customer service.
- Quick complaint handling: You process and resolve incoming complaints with the troubleshooting vehicle for smooth operations in the short-haul fleet.
- Special installations and modifications: You install Air Transport Stretchers and Crew Rest areas as well as modifications to cabin seats to enhance passenger comfort.

Requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for aviation. Ideally, you are highly motivated, competent, and enjoy working in a team, always following a careful approach regarding safety and compliance.
- You have completed a technical education of at least 3 years
- Experience advantage: Experience in cabin maintenance is a plus
- Technical affinity: You enjoy working manually and technically
- Attention to detail: You reliably recognize technical and cosmetic details and defects
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Confident handling of IT systems; AMOS knowledge is an advantage
- Independence: You work independently, carefully, and innovatively
- Flexibility and resilience: You are flexible and can work reliably under time pressure
- Willingness to work shifts: You are willing to work early and late shifts and on weekends
- Driver's license: Class B
