Specialist Safety and Occupational Health (m/f/d) - 100%
Location: Grenchen (CH)
Contract type: permanent
Travel activity: possible - JABIL locations within Switzerland
Your Responsibilities
- Compliance with legal and internal regulations regarding occupational safety, environmental protection, and health protection
- Building effective working relationships with managers, employees, regional EHS functions, and external service providers
- Communication with supervisory authorities
- Development and monitoring of EHS goals, analyses, reports, documentation
- Implementation and processing of EHS-specific dashboards
- Monitoring of EHS risks in the operation (creation of risk assessments, site inspections focusing on occupational safety, health protection, environmental protection)
- Continuous advising of management and executives regarding environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Development and implementation of an EHS training strategy for the site that ensures risks and legal requirements are met
- Monitoring EHS performance through inspection and auditing (internal, external)
- Maintaining local ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management)
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, including knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and controlling EHS risks in the workplace (occupational safety, environmental protection, health protection)
- Technical experience with machines and equipment (machine safety)
- Experience with hazardous materials (storage, transport, handling)
- Fluent in German and English
