About the job

Today's senior center has around 80 beds, 37 senior apartments, and a decentralized living group for people with dementia. In addition, the Gibeleich senior center offers a public restaurant, operates a meal service for the residents of the city of Opfikon, and supplies 11 children's daycares.

Since January 2025, Spitex Stadt Opfikon has been integrated into the Gibeleich senior center. It provides services in the Opfikon-Glattbrugg area and offers future-oriented and holistic care and assistance at home. 

To support our Spitex team, we are looking for a certified nursing specialist on a fixed-term or permanent basis:

Certified Nursing Specialist HF/ FH (60-100%)

Tasks

• Perform professional and competent care of clients within the scope of the job description
• Execution and maintenance of electronic nursing documentation according to interRAI
• Conduct needs assessments and manage complex care situations 
• Conduct case discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration with relatives and other stakeholders

Expectations

• Completed training as a certified nurse HF or FH
• Professional experience in an equivalent position, preferably in the Spitex sector
• Independent and structured working style as well as enjoyment in contact with clients
• Good IT skills 
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
