About the job
As an automatic assembler specializing in switchgear construction, you are responsible for the assembly, installation, and commissioning of electrical switchgear. You work in workshops and ensure that circuits and controls function safely and reliably. Your tasks include wiring, testing, and adjusting switchgear, installing switches, relays, and control devices, as well as troubleshooting. You work according to plans and technical drawings, combining manual skills with technical understanding.
School and inter-company courses
You attend vocational school 1 day per week. The inter-company courses (üK) serve to practically learn, deepen, and practice the professional basics; you attend these for 28 - 44 days during your training.

• Completed secondary school of middle or upper level (9th grade)
• Good performance in mathematics, geometry, English, and German
• Spatial imagination
• Manual skills and fine motor abilities
• Logical and networked thinking
• Strong technical understanding

• Patience and perseverance
• Enjoy working in a team
• Good manners for contact with customers and colleagues
• No color vision deficiency to correctly distinguish wire colors
