The Cantonal Health Center Appenzell ensures high-quality healthcare and care in old age for the population of Appenzell and Innerrhoden.

An essential part of our outpatient service spectrum is the Appenzell Health Practice. Our practice includes two general practitioners as well as various specialists.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant 80-100% starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Practice reception
• Telephone triage and appointment scheduling
• Laboratory analyses, fully digital X-rays, ECG examinations
• Assistance with minor surgical procedures
• Management of the practice pharmacy
• Writing reports from dictation and practice correspondence
• Occasional on-call duties at night and on weekends

We expect

• Completed training as a medical practice assistant
• Professional experience in a group practice is an advantage
• Experience in medication/pharmacy management
• Good PC user skills
• Organizational talent and good professional competence
• Completed training in dose-intensive X-ray is an advantage or willingness to complete it
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance and demeanor
• High reliability, teamwork skills, and flexibility
