Administrator of School Properties

The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants. In six school units, over 3,000 students attend classes from kindergarten to secondary level.

As of April 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking to complement our team in the school properties with a

• Professional, administrative and personnel management as well as development of the directly subordinate school janitors
• Responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the school areas including kindergartens and care facilities, technical systems, and work environments
• Planning, budgeting and monitoring of measures to maintain the value of the infrastructure
• Management of projects in the area of school properties (e.g. central purchasing, maintenance contracts, maintenance planning, etc.)
• Coordination and commissioning of external service providers and negotiation of contracts
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards as well as safety and sustainability guidelines

• Commercial or technical training with further education in real estate or facility management
• Several years of professional experience in building or facility management, leadership training and several years of leadership experience, preferably in the real estate sector
• Knowledge in the areas of financial accounting, cost control and purchasing, quick comprehension, efficient and independent working style, high social competence
• Solution-oriented communication skills and pronounced organizational talent
• Team-oriented personality with assertiveness
