The Finance Department in the General Secretariat is responsible for the financial management of the Directorate and accounting. It also oversees the area of individual premium reductions (IPV) and takes on the owner role for the four cantonal hospitals.

Your Tasks

• Establishing and operating a monitoring system for the financial situation of the listed hospitals and clinics in the Canton of Zurich
• If necessary: Implementation of financing solutions with cantonal participation for critical healthcare institutions within the framework of political and legal requirements, as well as ensuring the corresponding controlling
• Leading projects in the area of finance and investments
• Supporting the management team of the Finance Department in demanding business matters
• Creating concepts, analyses, and decision-making bases for the department management and the Directorate
• Preparing government council requests
• Representing the department in specialist and working groups

Our Requirements

You have a university degree in business administration or a comparable qualification and bring professional experience in corporate finance, auditing, or consulting, in healthcare or administration. You are accustomed to dealing with contacts at various levels. We are looking for a team-oriented person with a high sense of responsibility and an independent and results-oriented working style. You are familiar with common accounting and controlling concepts. Experience with the structures, processes, and strategic challenges of hospitals is a plus, but not mandatory. More important to us is your interest in the further development of healthcare, your enjoyment of challenges, and your analytical and conceptual skills, which you combine with implementation strength.
