A teleoperator for the telephone reception center
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security of the CHUV is looking for a teleoperator at an 80% activity rate for the Telephone Reception Center (CAT). The starting date is scheduled for April 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security of the CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance, and consulting within its extensive real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site.
The 3 main missions of the Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S):
- Construction and modernization: ensure the study and realization of architectural projects, as well as the renovation of technical installations.
- Operation: ensure the maintenance of all technical and biomedical equipment, as well as the infrastructures of the CHUV and its affiliates. Guarantee the production and distribution of fluids and energies necessary for all medical, research, technical, and administrative activities.
- Protection and security: ensure the protection of property and people.
Open 7 days a week, the Telephone Reception Center is responsible for various tasks, the main one being the reception and handling of internal and external telephone calls.
Mission
- You manage and direct internal and external telephone calls of the Reception Center
- You handle various alarms and trigger alerts in case of major events
- You perform various administrative tasks related to the activity of the Telephone Reception Center
- You ensure compliance with the procedures in force.
Profile
- You hold a CFC as a telephone operator or commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You have professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the medical or hospital field
- You are dynamic, comfortable in contact, and have a sense of welcome and service
- You demonstrate autonomy, discretion, and have a very good sense of priority management
- You are a calm person who knows how to take a step back to make the best decisions
- You have an excellent command of the French language; knowledge of a second language is an asset
- You master common computer and office tools.
As a teleoperator at the Telephone Center, you will be required to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays and face delicate psychological situations related to the hospital environment.
