At the Baar Care Center, we care for and support 165 elderly and young people, ensuring the well-being of the residents with great care and competent nursing. The person is at the center for us, lived diversity.

Your new workplace

The Atrium Baar offers a unique home for young people who have been suddenly taken out of life due to illness or accident. The specialization of the professional teams enables those affected, who rely intensively on care and support with or without a wheelchair, to stay in the pulse of life. At the Atrium, we accompany, care for, and support young people in need of care from 18 to 65 years of age in their daily lives. The Living & Day Structure offer is aimed at people with different needs. A balance between nursing and socio-pedagogical aspects, taking into account individual resources and goals, is sought.

What does your workday look like?

• As part of the well-coordinated and motivated team, you take responsibility for the entire care and support process. You can apply your knowledge in medical technology, acute care, and therapeutic areas.
• You seek the challenge of complex tasks in basic and treatment care for young people of IV age. You support and accompany our residents in their daily lives and are a contact and trusted person also for relatives.
• The care of people who rely on a wheelchair is carried out with empathy, shaping everyday life through closeness and distance.
• General preparatory and follow-up work and correct comprehensive electronic documentation, as well as being a companion and reference person for trainees in the care area, are also part of your diverse and exciting tasks.

What do you bring?

• To be successful in this demanding role in the long term, you bring a tertiary education at HF level or an equivalent and certified education recognized in Switzerland.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role and enjoyment in working with elderly people.
• Humor, solution orientation, and passion for the profession complete your profile.
