Technical Project Lead

Become part of our team "Industrial & Scientific Software" in the business centre "Software Engineering & IT" in Aarau. We realise technically demanding and innovative software projects for customers from various industries - from industrial applications to cloud and data platforms to AI-supported solutions.

With us, you combine customer consulting and project responsibility with technical expertise. You design innovative software solutions from the initial idea to productive use and take on both the professional and organisational responsibility.

Our projects combine classic software development with industrial digitalisation, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. You work closely with our customers and interdisciplinary

development teams and have great freedom to contribute your own ideas, technical decisions and modern development methods.

Area of activity

Help us shape innovative software solutions that create real added value. You understand the needs of our customers, develop viable solution concepts together with them and lead interdisciplinary project teams from the initial idea to successful implementation. In doing so, you combine strong customer orientation with technical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking.

• Customer consulting & solution finding: Analysis of customer needs, business processes and application scenarios. Development of innovative solution approaches and support of our customers from the initial idea to successful implementation.
• Requirements engineering & workshops: Systematic collection, analysis and specification of functional and non-functional requirements. Planning and moderation of customer workshops as well as clear presentation and coordination of solution approaches.
• Project management & responsibility: Independent management of demanding software development projects. Responsibility for project planning, resources, deadlines, budget, quality and risks.
• Technical conception & architecture:Development and evaluation of solution concepts as well as active participation in the design of system architectures. Ensuring technically sound, economical and sustainable architectural decisions.
• Team leadership & collaboration: Professional leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams. Promoting efficient collaboration between customers, software developers and other specialists.
• AI & modern software development: Targeted use of modern AI tools and methods to increase efficiency and quality in the software development process as well as co-design of AI-based solutions in customer projects.
• Engineering & implementation: Technical support of development up to productive commissioning and, if interested, active participation in the implementation of selected software components.
• Customer relations & acquisition: Participation in the preparation of offers and the further development of long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

• Education:Very good university degree (FH, ETH, Uni) in computer science, software engineering, business informatics or a comparable field.
• Project management: Experience in managing demanding software projects including planning, control and leadership of development teams.
• Business analysis & requirements engineering: Solid practical experience in the systematic analysis of requirements, business processes, application scenarios and user needs as well as in translating professional requirements into viable technical solutions.
• Customer interaction & communication: Enjoy working with customers, routine in planning and moderating workshops as well as in presenting complex content appropriately to customers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Software engineering & architecture: Solid experience in software development and a broad understanding of modern system architectures. You can assess technical concepts, co-design architectural decisions and discuss with development teams on an equal footing.
• Industry and application understanding: Experience with software projects in industry-related or technically demanding environments. Understanding of the interaction of software with technical systems, plants and operational processes.
• Technologies & methods: Experience with modern software technologies, for example in the areas of cloud, web, desktop or industrial applications, as well as with agile and classical project management methods.
• Artificial intelligence: Solid practical experience in the use of AI-supported development tools and modern AI-based software development processes. Ideally experience with the conception or implementation of AI-based software solutions.
• Personal skills: Strong customer orientation, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking as well as a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working. You convince through communication skills, initiative and enjoyment of working with people.
• Languages: Very good German and English skills, spoken and written.
