The Human Resources Department contributes to the implementation of the HUG's strategic directions. Its policy is notably based on consideration of the individual, work-life balance, health and safety at work, development of training, and promotion of internal mobility.
The HUG daycares include two sites with gardens, one located on the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other near the Cantonal Hospital, as well as a daycare center primarily intended for patients attending consultations at the maternity ward.
The HUG daycares are company daycares reserved for the children of staff.
Job Description
This ESEDE pre-admission internship (400 or 800 hours depending on written validation from ESEDE) is intended for individuals who have passed the ESEDE entrance exam and obtained a pre-admission certificate, requiring practical experience according to the PEC. Applications not meeting these criteria will not be considered.
We are looking for one intern at the Cluse-Roseraie site and one intern at the Belle-Idée site.
This internship allows you to immerse yourself in the reality of the childhood educator profession by participating in daily educational activities (welcomes, free play, awakening activities, meals, naps, transitions, outings) under the supervision of a reference EDE. You observe, ask questions, and develop a professional stance while participating in team meetings and institutional life.
We also support you in completing the ESEDE portfolio according to the school's expectations.
The 800 hours must be completed continuously in the same structure, and any absence must be compensated.
Qualifications
Mandatory attendance at one of the ESEDE information sessions (certificate of participation required)

ESEDE pre-admission certificate (successful entrance exam).
General secondary II diploma or CFC outside the socio-educational field requiring the pre-admission internship.
Strong interest in early childhood, motivation to enter ES training.
