Join and help shape the RBS, the Regional Transport Bern-Solothurn.On road and rail, we transport over 23 million passengers annually. Around 570 employees ensure every day in various meaningful and diverse activities that our passengers reach their destination safely, punctually, and relaxed. Together, we make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable mobility in the region. The Central Services division is responsible for purchasing/logistics, production planning, and continuous improvement within the Rolling Stock department. This department takes care of the maintenance and repair of RBS trains. Due to a staff change, we are looking for a new employee by agreement
Your Tasks
In this versatile specialist role, you support the Rolling Stock department, the technical team, and the locations in Worb, Worblaufen, and Solothurn in ensuring material availability and thus fleet availability. Your tasks include in particular:
- Procurement of spare parts and services
- Maintenance of material master data
- Supplier and product group management (in development)
- Continuous development of purchasing and logistics processes (strategic and central procurement as well as supply chain management throughout RBS)
- Further development of SAP S/4HANA in the MM module (superuser)
- Participation in projects and clarifications on behalf of the Rolling Stock department
You take over cross-departmental coordination of essential processes and represent RBS towards internal and external contacts such as RAILplus and suppliers. In addition, you develop future-oriented processes for the operation of the Bätterkinden depot (modular revision).
Your Profile
- You have training in purchasing, preferably with further education at FH/HF level in supply chain, as a process technician, or in business processes
- You have several years of experience, ideally in the railway industry (at least 3 years)
- You have solid knowledge of SAP (MM)
- You are confident in using MS Office and modern IT tools
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and have a high degree of personal responsibility
- You are communicative, assertive, and quality-conscious
- You enjoy continuous improvement (CIP)
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
