Checkpoint Zurich is a health center for queer people and one of the largest in Switzerland for HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual health. We offer a comprehensive range of medical, psychological, and psychosocial services. In addition, we conduct campaigns and community work. Checkpoint Zurich is part of Arud, a non-profit organization in the field of outpatient medical care, and is operated in cooperation with the Sexual Health Zurich association.
You have a specialist title in infectiology or internal medicine with at least 1-2 years of experience in treating people with HIV. You enjoy working in a demanding environment and appreciate direct contact with our clients with a variety of different sexual orientations and gender identities. You understand Swiss German and speak English in addition to German - additional languages are an advantage.
You have a strong interest in the health of LGBT* people in all its facets. As a dedicated team player, you are used to performing responsible tasks independently and with a high level of quality awareness even on busy days. Knowledge and interest in the life world and health of queer people in all its facets is an advantage.
We offer you a collegial working environment with flat hierarchies, a lot of independence and responsibility, as well as an exciting and varied job with attractive training opportunities. Your workplace is located directly at Zurich main station. Contemporary employment conditions are a matter of course for us - including 6 weeks of vacation. There are no night shifts to be performed. However, you are willing to work until 8:30 p.m. two days a week and once a month on weekends.
