V.I.E. KYC Support Coverage Team - Banking operations processing - Geneva, Switzerland

The Zurich Support Front Officer, SFO, is in charge of coordinating the end-to-end KYC process for GLBA corporate coverage Zurich team. The SFO also handles the KYC Review campaigns on behalf of the FO Responsible (FOR) when no Client Outreach Analyst (COA) is already assigned.

Responsibilities :

• SFO is Coordinator/Facilitator/Improver of the whole KYC process. Single point of contact for FOs, operations, KYC, Compliance, or Tax officers wherever located/implicated ensuring the link with the other teams.

• SFO confirms with the Front Office Responsible (FOR) the strategy in collecting all the documents

• SFO eases front officers tasks in collecting all the documents necessary for the bank’s due diligence in terms of KYC, embargo, AML,…always copying the FO when contacting clients

• SFO is the point of contact for clients’ enquiries regarding the KYC process.

      

• SFO eases front officers tasks in contacting the clients to renew the US Tax Form.

• Act as a facilitator by escalating complex or blocking situations with relevant stakeholders

• SFO must demonstrate the highest standards of conduct and behavior in meeting Compliance's and Business Lines’ policies and procedures, and when interacting with regulators, market counterparties, clients and colleagues.

• SFO must (i) know and respect the regulatory application (incl. internal rules and procedures) applicable to their role, (ii) complete the mandatory training programmes on time, (iii) undertake the actions needed as part of remediation program (if any), (iv) contribute to data quality enhancement with the highest standards of execution when related to compliance processes (KYC, Embargoes & Sanctions, GILT,…)

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.  

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in finance
• A previous experience in KYC would be appreciated
   

Language skills:

• Fluent in English; German would be appreciated

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office, especially Excel
• Cooperation, ability to work with multiples stakeholders (Compliance, KYC, BLs, RMs)
• Results oriented and problem solver
• Intellectual rigor regarding the follow up of priorities and issues

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Geneva is to begin May 1st, 2026, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
