The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. For our Disposal group, we are looking for a

Your tasks

Management and support of projects and preparation of concepts, reports, and operational documents in the field of radioactive waste disposal
Submission of approval and release applications to the supervisory authorities
Representation of AERA (facilities for the disposal of radioactive waste) towards the authorities
Preparation of QM documents and reports

Your profile

Completed higher education at a university in a technical or mathematical-natural science subject
Willingness to familiarize yourself with a new field
Enjoyment in assessing complex situations, passion for innovations and their implementation into pragmatic, feasible solutions, and ideally already experience in managing industrial or infrastructural projects
Willingness to take on responsibility as well as a communicative and reliable working style
Theoretical and practical experience with ionizing radiation and radioactive materials is an advantage
Good German skills in spoken and written form. Mastery of additional languages is a plus
