The Office for Financial Services is responsible for the cantonal accounting. It supports the decentralized accounting offices in all questions related to accounting and ensures uniform implementation. Furthermore, it manages the canton’s assets, is responsible for payment transactions, conducts the technical planning process, and prepares both the accounting year-end and the cantonal financial publications. Additionally, the office manages the state financial and logistics applications.

Head of Payment Transactions (m/f/d)

What to expect
- You take over the personnel and organizational leadership of the Payment Transactions department, which will grow in personnel in the coming years due to an internal reorganization
- You design and optimize the cantonal creditor and debtor processes as the process-responsible person
- You build up and further develop the support organization for the decentralized cantonal accounting offices (First Level Support)
- You work operationally in day-to-day business
- You promote the further development of your team and, together with the team trainer, supervise apprentices
- You actively contribute to projects related to the further development of accounting
- You participate in year-end closing tasks and general accounting duties
What distinguishes you
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on finance or a federal specialist certificate in finance and accounting
- Several years of experience in accounting in a large company, ideally with creditor workflow and electronic bank processing
- Leadership experience as well as completed leadership training
- Experience with SAP FI and SAP SD
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Knowledge in process management and a clear IT affinity
- Strong communication and presentation skills
