"Synergy is the bonus that arises when the mandate for the teachers is outdated, those who already have a collaboration and work with the political community create everything to work together harmoniously." - Support in pedagogically demanded the introduction into the various areas - shows great need for renovation. Mark Twain
Further training in Thurgau has been restricted. I am confident that in the areas of roofs, hall floors, garages, and further additional services, a good collaboration and school development is guaranteed. The new orientation of the school - attractive - is actually prohibited. The resources for fire protection and safety measures show great deficiencies. Respect for the teaching profession is also partially lacking. Thanks to the approved credit from the population, this year the construction of a photovoltaic system on the schoolhouse Ost in the school center Waldegg is planned. In the midst of the clarification phase, we hope to maintain the proven and implement new optimization measures in a timely manner. Long waiting times for craftsmen or requested offers delay this process. All public schools, including us, are back in the hot phase, as all job positions for the upcoming school year are to be filled. A school management must creatively strive for good solutions, ensure sustainable restructuring, and create a healthy school climate. This balancing act, alongside the administrative additional effort, should not be underestimated. A thank you to our current leading persons. For the playgroup, new spaces could be found, and the planning for the new leadership of physical education with the relocation to the sports halls of Waldegg could be completed. Despite the situation on the job market, we welcome a good collaboration with the population and trust to continue on the common path. In the primary level, co-leadership is Daniel Wyder and Sabrina Storrer, and in the secondary level, Daniel Gillmann as new school leaders. The large building, once in collaboration with the secondary school Waldegg, invites to the vernissage with aperitif. Diana Hanselmann and Erika Geiger will jointly take care of the aperitif and service with an engaged kitchen department. The students of the secondary school Waldegg show what they are capable of. Under the expert guidance of their teacher, Denise Bartholdi, they have created diverse artworks in the past weeks, which will now be presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition offers an exciting insight into the creative work of the youth. Whether painting, drawings, or mixed-media projects - the works impress with expressiveness, creativity, and craftsmanship. For the culinary well-being, there will also be provisions at the vernissage. Marianne Obrist, School Authority Your tasks:

Sports Day of the Primary School Oberhofen In mid-May, the traditional sports day of the primary school Oberhofen took place at the Waldegg sports facility under ideal external conditions. The motto "Fair Sport" accompanied the students throughout the day. After the approximately 300 children were divided into 30 different age-mixed groups, which bore the names of popular sports, the students warmed up for the upcoming station run. The tasks could be assigned to three different categories. As part of the UBS Kids Cup, the children completed the three athletics disciplines of sprinting, ball throwing, and long jump. At the end of the day, separate athletics rankings for girls and boys were created by class. Then there were stations without competitive character, such as playing seated ball or building human pyramids. Finally, a group competition in various disciplines such as obstacle course, vehicle course, floor hockey, or target throwing was also conducted during the sports day. The students showed great commitment, cheering for their classmates during the group competitions and trying to achieve new personal bests in the athletics disciplines. With all the sporting ambition, it was nice to see that the older students showed understanding for the younger ones, thus fully implementing the motto of fair sports. After an exhausting morning, lunch was shared on the sports facility. A wedding full of mishaps With the piece "Wedding with Obstacles", the students of the upper level Waldegg presented a true theater highlight, embodying their roles. A special mention goes to the director, Denise Bartholdi, whose work behind the scenes was also grand. On May 2, 2025, the entire year group of the 1st secondary Waldegg participated in the sCOOL Cup with great commitment. The students had the task of running around 20 stations in pairs in a varied terrain. The event was excellently organized and provided excitement for all involved. Overall, the sCOOL Cup was a complete success - a sporty school afternoon that will be remembered for a long time.
