PRODUCT SUPPORT DIRECTOR

To strengthen the organization of Avesco AG, we are now looking for a development-oriented PRODUCT SUPPORT DIRECTOR for the territory. You will be based either in Switzerland, and you will be actively present across the region. You will report to the CEO of Avesco International. The local Product Support organizations will functionally report to you, and directly to their entity Leads.
You will be responsible for the development and functional leadership of the Product Support organizations in the territory, including service, product support sales, parts, logistics, inventory and warehousing. You ensure the functionality and efficiency of the operations as well as drive excellence together with the local teams to ensure that we grow together. You foster collaboration and sharing of best practices and act as primary liaison towards the principal organization (Caterpillar).
- Relevant working experience in a heavy machinery product support organization in mining and construc-tion sector (+10 years)
- Educational degree of Bachelor in any field
- Solid leadership skills and experience, especially ability to lead change
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills as well as ability to influence and engage
- Drive to come up with solutions, a ‘We love challenges’ attitude
- Ability to understand the big picture, while maintaining attention to detail as well
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with Caterpillar brand is preferred
