About the job

In the heart of the Ittingen Charterhouse, the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittinger Museum offer a rich exhibition and event program. Historic rooms, an attractive art collection, and a magnificent garden invite a broad audience to visit seven days a week with diverse attractions.

To complement our team, we are looking for a Registrar (30%) / Technician (10%) or Registrar (30%) / Technician (10%) from January 1, 2026 or by arrangement for the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittinger Museum in the Ittingen Charterhouse and the external depot in Aadorf.

Your tasks

Curating and setting up art objects in administrative buildings and offices of the Canton of Thurgau
Advising customers on-site at the external depot in Aadorf
Issuing loan agreements for cantonal offices
Continuous clearing of loan agreements and the database
Visits to offices (room inspection, contract control, condition check of loaned items)
Provision of artworks for loan
Inventory and archiving of artworks
Depot responsibility at the external depot in Aadorf, including responsibility for depot structure, climate, and alarm system
Setting up and dismantling exhibitions of the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittinger Museum
