PH Zurich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Vice-Rectorate for Research & Development is committed to promoting young scientists and is building cooperative doctoral programs with universities at home and abroad for this purpose.
One of these programs is the cooperative doctoral program « Educational Research in the Professional Field » (BiB), which is being developed in close collaboration with the University of Education Karlsruhe. The program aims to provide doctoral candidates with a structured framework for doctoral projects with a strong connection to school-related and professional field-related questions.
To support the program development we are looking for a committed individual starting January 1, 2026.
- Support in the organizational and content-related development of the cooperative doctoral program «Educational Research in the Professional Field»
- Collaboration in coordination between PH Zurich, PH Karlsruhe, and possibly other partner universities involved
- Planning, preparing, and conducting events (e.g., colloquia, workshops, exchange meetings)
- Documentation, evaluation, and further development of program structures and processes
- Completed master's degree related to educational sciences
- Own doctoral experience (advanced)
- Interest in promoting young scientists and in cross-university collaboration
- Experience in scientific project contexts and project management is an advantage
- Understanding of university organizational and science policy contexts
- Very good communication skills
- Enjoyment of coordination, organization, and teamwork, combined with an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
