Team Leader System Design & Control
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Leading a team of engineers who define and optimize VAT's mechatronic products
- Responsibility for system design including motorized products (stepper motors, BLDC, servo motors) as well as pressure control
- Responsibility for developing new functions, customer-specific adaptations, and 2nd-level support
- Defining test systems for product verification and collaborating with the laboratory in the fields of measurement technology and control
- Ability to scale PLC product development
- Driving engineering excellence by improving processes, tools, and knowledge sharing
- Working in a cross-functional, multicultural, and globally distributed environment
YOUR SKILLS
- University degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or systems engineering
- Experience in leading successful development teams
- Several years of experience in developing mechatronic systems such as drive technology, sensors, and embedded software design
- Knowledge of stepper, BLDC, and servo drives, motion controllers, and control technology
- Knowledge of common fieldbus protocols (EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus)
- Fluent in English and German
