BIM and Data Specialist

Would you like to contribute to the introduction and further development of the BIM working method in the Civil Engineering Office?

As a BIM and Data Specialist, you help ensure that planning, construction, and operational processes are data-based, efficient, and future-proof. You support the further development of the BIM working method and promote the use of modern digital tools throughout the entire lifecycle of the infrastructure.

Your tasks

• Support of BIM projects of the Civil Engineering Office and assistance in the implementation of BIM standards and information requirements
• Building, maintaining, and integrating a consistent and interoperable data basis as well as defining and controlling data flows
• Development and optimization of tools and scripts for automating data checks, handovers, and interfaces
• Development of concepts and analyses of new technologies and methods in the field of BIM and digital construction

Your profile

• Education in the field of construction
• Several years of professional experience in BIM/digital construction and data management
• Solid knowledge of BIM software and CDE platforms as well as experience with open data standards (IFC, IDS, BCF)
• Experience in automating data processes (e.g., with FME, Python, Power BI, or Microsoft Fabric)
• Very good German skills (at least C1), English skills are an advantage
• Open and team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
