Finance & Controlling Employee 80 - 100%The Directorate of Justice and the Interior is one of seven directorates of the Zurich Government Council. Our extremely broad field of activity ranges from law enforcement to cultural promotion. The General Secretariat supports the director as a staff unit in managing the directorate and provides services for its units as well as, in particular, with the legislative service, also for other directorates.
The directorate controlling coordinates and consolidates the financial processes at the directorate level; in addition, we manage the accounting of the General Secretariat and the specialist offices.
To strengthen the Finance & Controlling area, we are looking for a colleague as soon as possible or by arrangement.
Your tasks include
- Support in controlling processes such as financial planning, business report, interim and annual financial statements according to the accounting manual and compliance with ICS requirements
- Collaboration in the accounting team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, IC reconciliations)
- Participation in the ongoing review and further development of ICS
- Participation in projects
Your profile
- A completed commercial or equivalent education as well as further training in finance and accounting
- Several years of professional experience in controlling/accounting (preferably in the public administration)
- SAP: You are familiar with FI, SD, CO, CML as well as reporting
- MS Office: You are proficient in Excel including analysis, Word, as well as using Teams, Planner, etc.
- Motivated, independent working style
- Quick comprehension and willingness to learn
- Holistic thinking and good work organization
- You enjoy working in a team and contribute actively
