To strengthen our team in the logistics area (internal tobacco transport) of the Trier plant, we are looking for a Technical Team Leader Logistics (m/f/d) for a permanent position starting immediately.

Your job mission:

As a team leader (m/f/d), you organize the daily business of internal tobacco transport and lead your team members through your technical expertise, pronounced social skills, and strong communication abilities. You solve technical problems, coordinate repair and maintenance work, and organize in-house deliveries. By focusing on occupational safety and process management, you contribute to the efficient transport of raw tobacco and thus to a smooth production process.

Your tasks:

• Coordination of daily business in the assigned area including direct personnel management and deployment planning
• Organization of in-house delivery, storage and retrieval, preparation of products for loading, and efficient loading of trucks
• Ensuring the performance of our AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles)
• Coordination of repair and maintenance work as well as procurement and provision of required spare parts
• Responsible for occupational safety, reporting, and process management
• Administration of cost planning, SAP bookings, inventory management, documentation, and annual inventory closing

Your profile:

• Relevant education: Completed studies in business administration or technical field with a focus on logistics/material management or comparable technical training with corresponding qualification as master technician (m/f/d)
• Practical experience: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience and preferably some leadership experience
• Special strengths: Technical knowledge regarding maintenance and repair of industrial plants and floor conveyors (forklifts, AGVs, etc.)
• Valuable knowledge: Very good PC skills (MS Office and SAP) as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
• Suitable personality: Pronounced social competence as well as good communication and teamwork skills, very good coordination skills and organizational talent, high willingness to learn and flexibility
• Lived working time model: Flexitime with willingness to work shifts
