Tasks
Day off: Monday
The students in the class have a visual impairment, are blind and/or on the autism spectrum. You plan the level-appropriate lessons according to Curriculum 21 and carry them out. You receive support in the lessons from a pedagogical staff member as well as through close collaboration within the Cycle 3 team. In particular, you are responsible for the subjects Math, NMG, M&I, and IVE. Individual educational and support plans, which you create, serve as the basis for your teaching. In addition, you supervise the pedagogical team, ensure coordination work, and maintain contact with the guardians and external specialist agencies. Administrative tasks such as maintaining the children's files and preparing reports also belong to your area of activity. Furthermore, you conduct progress discussions, participate in working groups and cross-class projects, and help organize special weeks.
Requirements
You have an EDK-recognized diploma in school special education, a primary teaching certificate, or are studying for a Bachelor in Primary Education or a Master in School Special Education. Ideally, you already have experience teaching students in Cycle 3 on the autism spectrum or visually impaired children. You approach challenges, such as those arising from students on the autism spectrum (AS) and with visual impairments, with the necessary professionalism and calm. You enjoy working with a committed team and contributing to a trusting and supportive climate.
Due to the team composition, we especially welcome applications from men.
We Offer
Our culture is characterized by appreciation and openness. In your role, you take on a lot of responsibility and receive the corresponding scope for design. You work in a motivated and well-coordinated team. An introductory training for the position is guaranteed and desired before the summer holidays. The salary is based on the cantonal teacher employment law. Our other employment conditions, aligned with cantonal framework conditions, are also attractive. Learn more about this on our website.
