The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. We want to align our actions more closely with the needs of our clients and advance digitalization.
The Regional Medical Service (RAD) Bern, Fribourg, Solothurn examines the insurance medical requirements for receiving benefits from disability insurance for the cantonal IV offices.
What you can achieve with us
- You assess the work and reintegration ability of our insured persons from a medical perspective based on the files or your own examinations.
- With your expertise, you ensure that the entitlement to benefits is determined quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
- For this purpose, you write insurance medical reports, collaborate with treating physicians, and advise and support our case managers and insurance specialists on medical questions.
- If interested, there is the possibility to take on additional special tasks such as project work or training activities.
What skills are important to us
- You are a specialist physician with several years of professional experience and are interested in social insurance law and insurance medical issues.
- You appreciate complex matters, make decisions purposefully, and like to take responsibility. In addition, you are characterized by a high service orientation.
- You enjoy working with people from different professional fields. With your constructive and helpful manner, you contribute to a good team atmosphere.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so active knowledge of the respective other language is desired.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks

At least 25 days of vacation annually, 28 days from the age of 45, and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave
