As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you safely and punctually bring our guests to their destination and are responsible for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers, and the cargo on board. Other tasks include:
- Operating SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring punctuality, economy, and a high quality standard for our guests
- Flight preparation and execution according to SWISS guidelines
- Collaboration with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
- Support and representation of the commander in all matters
- Continuous, self-responsible maintenance and deepening of professional knowledge
- Responsible and sustainable action
- Operation as an integral, mature, loyal personality with social competence and leadership potential

For the position of pilot at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:
- Completed training with Matura/Abitur or diploma HF or general (subject-specific) university entrance qualification
- ATPL(A) / CPL(A)/IR with ATPL theory / MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
- Medical Class 1 Certificate
- Continuously documented flight performance record (flight log excerpt, license, etc.)
- Swiss citizenship or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good language skills in German (at least language level B2 must be proven if German is not the mother/ everyday language) and good conversational skills in English (at least ICAO Level 4)
- Impeccable character
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Height: 160-198 cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on GAV
- MCC document
- Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745 (please attach the document)
