We are a popular congress and event venue in the Bernese Oberland and are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Head of Sales & Marketing (m/f/d) and Member of the Executive Board.
In this exciting role as Head of Sales & Marketing and Member of the Executive Board, you will take on a key role in the further development of our company. With entrepreneurial thinking and market intuition, you will lead our sales and marketing to sustainable success.

Your Tasks
- Acquisition of new customers as well as maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships
- Revision of the existing offer and pricing concept with the aim of increasing closing rates and generating occupancy in low-revenue months
- Development and implementation of a holistic sales and marketing strategy
- Analysis of market, customer, and competitive situations
- Development and introduction of new products and event formats
- Planning and implementation of marketing measures (online and offline)
- Maintenance and further development of our brand appearance (including website)
- Responsibility for the sales and marketing budget
- Leadership of the sales and marketing teams (each 1-2 employees)
- Support of the sales and marketing teams in daily operational business
- Exchange and collaboration with the four other executive board members as well as with the two group companies (KIH AG & CI AG)
- Close cooperation with local service providers (Tourism Organization Interlaken, hotels, mountain railways, etc.)
Your Profile
- Completed studies (FH/HF) or comparable further education in marketing / sales
- Several years of experience in sales, event, gastronomy, or MICE environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial and networked thinking, interest in cross-departmental topics
- High personal responsibility and enthusiasm for events and gastronomy
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
- Advantageous: Network in the Bern region and/or Bernese Oberland
- Leadership experience in marketing / sales and experience in the tourism industry are also advantageous
