We are looking for a
Professional in Service and Sales (m/f) 60–80%
NOOHN is an innovative restaurant in the center of Basel, whose sophisticated concept, extraordinary interior design, and unique ambiance have made countless visitors regulars since its opening in 2006. Thanks to its large selection of sushi and Euro-Asian dishes, NOOHN has also become a meeting point for many "expats" in the region. Its 800 m2 of space includes a restaurant with 250 seats, a self-service area, a sushi bar, and a lounge bar with up to 300 seats. Overall, the NOOHN world offers space for events of various kinds with up to 600 people. The venue gains additional attractiveness in the warm season, where guests can indulge in the shady garden restaurant in the Kirschgarten courtyard or enjoy the view of the city from the picturesque rooftop terrace during the evening aperitif.
Your tasks:
• Preparing the service (Mise en Place)
• Attentive care of guests
• Expert advice on food, cocktails, wines, and drinks
• Serving food and drinks
• Creating guest bills
• Clearing and cleaning tables as well as general cleaning tasks
You bring:
• Initial experience in service or at the bar is an advantage
• Enjoyment of guest contact, a positive demeanor, and strong communication skills
• An independent, responsible working style
• Team spirit, resilience, and flexibility – even on busy evenings
