The Zurich City West hotel complex combines three hotel brands from AccorHotels (Novotel, ibis, ibis budget). A total of around 1000 guests can be accommodated in 459 rooms.

The business hotel Novotel Zurich City West is a comfortable 4* property with 144 rooms, including 5 suites. In our restaurant "The Flave" we serve à la carte dishes, menus as well as varied buffets from international cuisine. Our guests also have access to a bar, 5 seminar and banquet rooms, two escape rooms, and an indoor pool with a fitness room.

To complement our F&B team, we are looking immediately for a service-oriented, motivated, and cheerful personality as hourly wage temporary help (m/f/d).

Job Description

• Welcoming and attending to our international guests in the restaurant, at the bar, and also in our seminar and banquet rooms
• Supervision of the breakfast buffet
• Assistance in the preparation and support of seminars (room setup, technology, reception and care of participants)
• Room service
• Advising guests regarding food and drink selection
• Mise-en-place preparations
• Receiving and checking invoices and receipts
• Forwarding and handling feedback and complaints

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the gastronomy sector
• Languages: German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage
• High quality awareness and quick comprehension
• Enjoyment and pleasure in guest contact
• Flexibility
• Team spirit
