Manager - Tax Services - Indirect Tax/VAT (Zurich, Bern or Basel)

The Opportunity

With our tax services, we are market leaders in numerous areas and advise you on all tax matters. In this way, we optimize the business and legal structures of our global clients. Develop your individual skills in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams with us in our offices in Zurich, Bern or Basel! Indirect taxes operate in an extremely dynamic environment, with numerous changes planned in the near future – help us and our clients to master the upcoming challenges.

Your Main Tasks

• Production of goods and products abroad, suppliers and customers worldwide, cross-border services and collaborations, new free trade agreements and sales markets in distant countries: World trade is steadily growing – and with it the importance of indirect taxes. What delivery terms should be agreed upon to avoid additional tax liabilities? How can the production and storage of goods be efficiently designed from a cash flow perspective?
• We strive for holistic, practical solutions and work closely with our colleagues from Tax, Assurance and Advisory Services to cover all the needs of our clients as best as possible. Our expert team for VAT and customs / excise duties advises and helps companies to master these and other challenges in the field of indirect taxes.
• You answer complex national and international questions in an interdisciplinary environment in close cooperation with local and international colleagues and find tailored solutions to optimize corporate and sales structures. On exciting projects at the interface between business and law, you gain deep insights into various industries and business areas through personal daily client contact and exchange with tax authorities.

What We Are Looking For

• You have at least 7 years of experience in tax consulting (VAT, customs and other excise taxes) at one of the Big4 or a similar consulting firm.
• As a manager, you have already taken responsibility for client mandates and supervised less experienced team members during assignments.
• As an international company, we require fluent German and English skills, other foreign languages are welcome. With commitment and initiative, you drive your own career forward with us.
