For the Mechanical Engineering and Infrastructure group, we are looking for a

Your tasks

Acceptance tests, completion, and assembly of electromagnets (conventional and radiation-hard)
Preparation and assistance with magnetic field measurements (setup, leveling, and connection to water and power supply)
General mechanical work (turning, milling, drilling, soft soldering, possibly hard soldering)
Maintenance and support in the further development of magnetic measurement systems
Active participation in the design and manufacture of special tools and fixtures

Your profile

Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or equivalent training
Crane operator license (20 t) or willingness to acquire it promptly
Ability to work in a team in an international environment
Very good knowledge of German and confident communication in English
User knowledge of MS Office
