Your Main Tasks

• Proper and structured maintenance of operational equipment such as patient beds, various electric vehicles, rolling stock, and more
• Ensuring planned and unplanned maintenance as well as repair of systems and devices
• Compliance with legal requirements, standards, as well as internal guidelines and instructions in the mechanics group
• Taking over specific systems in the role of "system responsible person" at a later date
• Contact person for external suppliers, planners, and internal customers; accompanying and guiding external companies during work at USZ
• Taking over duty shifts (night and weekend shifts in 7x24h operation) as well as on-call duties after successful introduction

Your Profile

• Completed training as a mechanic, polymechanic, car, bicycle, or motorcycle mechanic EFZ, ideally with several years of professional experience, preferably in maintenance or 24/7 operation
• Further training in maintenance and electrical engineering is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, resilience, as well as high social competence and service orientation
• Good IT skills (MS Office, maintenance software) as well as organizational talent
• Proactive, independent, and goal- and customer-oriented working style
• Flawless oral and written German skills
