Hotel & Gastro formation Switzerland is an educational center for the hotel & gastro industry based in Weggis. The facility has a modern teaching kitchen, a restaurant with about 150 seats, 8 classrooms, and an auditorium. The hotel mainly accommodates course participants and teachers.
The educational center usually welcomes its guests and participants from Monday to Friday. The team works in two shifts without room hours. Occasionally, events or activities also take place on weekends and are announced in advance.
To complement our kitchen team, we are looking for a
Cook (100%)
Together with the team, you prepare timely and high-quality meals for employees and guests. During courses and the conduct of federal exams, you actively support the responsible persons. Our guests and events are very diverse. This ensures a varied daily routine but also requires flexibility and the ability to handle unplanned situations.
In addition, you ensure compliance with the following tasks in everyday life:
You are a team-oriented, resilient, and active person with an EFZ as a cook and several years of professional experience. It would be great if you have a specialist certificate as a head chef and some leadership experience. Furthermore, the vocational trainer certificate is an advantage.
You have a strong sense of quality and the necessary care in handling food and work equipment. You present a neat appearance and are experienced in dealing with guests. German language skills in spoken and written form are mandatory.
