President of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (90%-100%) - Start: April 1, 2026

You lead with empathy and clarity. Advocate for people in difficult life situations and shape child and adult protection in a future-oriented and digitally supported way.

• As president, you bear overall responsibility for the strategic, financial, organizational, and personnel management of the KESB Lucerne and thus guarantee the lawful implementation of child and adult protection according to the Civil Code (ZGB).
• You directly lead one of the two chambers both professionally and personnel-wise.
• You represent the authority and its tasks externally.
• As part of the management of the Social and Security Directorate, you contribute across departments and directorates.
• You actively participate in the conference of KESB presidents of the canton of Lucerne.

• You have a university degree, ideally in law, preferably supplemented with management training.
• You have several years of professional experience, ideally in child and adult protection as well as in managing legal proceedings.
• You bring extensive leadership experience and value interdisciplinary collaboration with professionals from social work, education, and psychology.
• You communicate clearly, convincingly, and respectfully with different stakeholders.
• High resilience, assertiveness, and decisiveness are among your strengths.
